Hillary Niblo - Executive Director Hillary stepped into the role as NCL’s first Executive Director in mid 2006 and has thrived on the opportunity to shape the next 50 years of the NCL - its image and impact in communities from coast to coast - and to help NCL achieve its goal to be in all 50 states. Hillary attributes the ultimate direction of her personal and professional life to her experience as an NCL Ticktocker in the Newport Chapter in Southern California in the 1980’s. Hillary has a multi-faceted professional background. She has over 20 years experience in business administration and management, marketing, public relations, event planning, design and fundraising. She began her career at the world renowned auction house, Christie’s, first in the Trust and Estates department in New York, then as the Regional Administrator of Business Development in the Beverly Hills office. She then moved back to her home town in Orange County, CA and joined the Taco Bell Corporation, where she held multiple positions in development and design until her final position there, Executive Director of the Taco Bell Foundation, which she held for four years training herself to jump full force into the world of non-profit. Just prior to reconnecting to NCL, she held the position of Development Director for a local Orange County non-profit, Project Access, which provides education and social services to low income residents of affordable housing. Among her many community affiliations, she has served as Community Director on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Orange County. Additional JLOCC leadership positions held were Public Relations Chair, and Project Director for both the “Free Arts for Abused Children” and the Orangewood “On My Own” initiative which served teens emancipating from the county foster care system. She has been honored with the Junior League’s Spirit of the League and its Board of Directors award as well as by Rotary International as a Paul Harris Fellow. Additional local volunteer work includes the America Cancer Society, Pacific Symphony Orchestra and American Parkinson Disease Association. Hillary received a BFA in Art History from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Certificate in Financial Management for Non-Profit Organizations from Cal State University Fullerton.
