About Our Chapter

The Demo Chapter was organized in 1999 and chartered in 2000. Members primarily live in the Sacramento area of CA.  We have 100 Patronesses and 200 Ticktockers.

(This is a good area to describe details about your Chapter and add interesting facts.)

Other suggestions for content in this area are:

  • a description of the National Charity League 6-year program,
  • the roles of ticktockers and patronesses,
  • membership,
  • your goals, activities,
  • specific annual events,
  • photos,
  • how to join,
  • Philanthropies you are involved with,
  • upcoming events, etc.

Keep in mind that this page is "Public" and intended to describe who you are to prospective members.

Our Philanthropies

Camelia Symphony Orchestra - We have been volunteering and donating hours for the Orchestra for over 10 years. It is a great way for Ticktockers to get involved with a Philanthropy that explores professional music careers within our local area.

Hilleglass Art Museum - The Art Museum is a wonderful opportunity for our members to learn about art, art history, and modern art. We have donated over 300 hours per year to helping the Art Museum and it provides an unforgettable bonding experience beteween mothers and daughters to volunteer at the museum.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - Our members perform many fundraisers to donate money to this important research foundation. Some of our fundraisers include Build-a-Bear workshops, candy sales and car wash events.  All funds received are given directly to the Foundation.

Loaves & Fishes - It is important for all of our members to be able to give back to our fellow community persons that are less fortunate. Volunteering hours at our local Loaves and Fishes kitchen provides a rich and enlightening experience for ticktockers.

River Parkway Foundation - We feel strongly about giving back to our community and helping it stay clean.  The River Parkway Foundation gives our chapter the opportunity to expereince the outdoors and perform river clean-up days. We also do a recycling fundraiser where proceeds go directly to the Foundation.
